The Board of Directors appoints the members of the Scientific Commission.
The Scientific Committee defines the minimum level of knowledge required for actuarial training, and monitors the quality of teaching and training programs, as well as the awarding of diplomas. It ensures coordination between training and research programs and the association.
The Scientific Committee is consulted on all applications for recognition of actuarial training courses, and, where appropriate, gives its opinion on agreements, conventions and endorsements binding the association to schools, institutes or training organizations.
